grounding nets are a waste. But I have seen many cars start quicker and have steadier idles from installing them. How much of a grounding web is there in the stock harness? I know there are several ring connectors that ground to the plenum. I put a new harness in my Z when I put my motor in, and my z starts very quickly. In the morning when it is cold is the only time it takes more than a second to start. Maybe a first step would be to clean up the stock grounding locations and see if that helps any.
